Tough as they might have been, my cats have never been big fans of snow. None of them. Outdoors and on the prowl all spring, summer and autumn, but walking in the white stuff? Nope. Not on a leash, not on their own. The year these photos were taken the snow came very early, and they were glad to be indoor cats.

A new scratching post is always a big hit! I've stopped buying these cheap, flimsy ones though. Not worth the money, they are not cheap at all in the long run! I now buy a brand with parts you can change out when they are scratched to bits. And the sisal rope is voven, so it's not so easy for them to destroy anyway.
